HR MANAGER BELGIUM

The role

[PIAS] is looking for an HR Manager to join their fantastic Management team in Belgium. Reporting to the CEO, this truly generalist role will give exposure to the full HR remit. You’ll lead the day-to-day employee experience as well as work on specific projets or actions.Most importantly, the successful candidate will bring a progressive and consultative style wanting to bring a best in class HR partnership.

Key responsibilities will include

• Challenge and improve existing procedures and ways of working, and target increased efficiency, for both Employees and Employer
• A-Z Payroll and Benefits administration and processing, including salary split administration
• Ensure legal compliance throughout HR management
• Participate in Management meetings with the Belgian Management team as well as Global HR Management meetings
• Design, implement and enforce HR policies (Diversity & Inclusion policy, Homeworking policy)
• Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
• Recruitment: source, screen, recruit new job applicants + onboarding
• Training & Development : organize ad hoc training, follow-up on yearly evaluations
• Health and safety: Annual and global plan for health and safety, follow up on other legal requirements
• Ad hoc support for our staff in Germany, and/or other territories

Skills and Experience

• Solid knowledge of Belgian employment laws and regulations
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar roles
• Excellent command of English in verbal and writing as this is the Company’s main language
• Fluency in French and Flemish
• Good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Detailed work ethics
• Proficiency in Excel
• Experience in implementing projects (e.g. Plan cafétéria, homeworking policy)
• Positive attitude to a swift and flexible environment
• Discretion, integrity and professionalism
