DFA Records

DFA Records is a NYC based record label founded by James Murphy, Jonathan Galkin & Tim Goldsworthy.

Growing from a group of friends throwing underground dance parties to a global indie label in less than 15 years, DFA played a key role in the likes of The Rapture, LCD Soundsystem, The Juan MacLean, Hot Chip, YACHT, Black Dice, Holy Ghost!, Hercules & Love Affair, Factory Floor, Gavin Russom, Museum of Love, Sinkane, Larry Gus & so much more

In James Murphy’s words, DFA is “too old to be new, too new to be classic”.
